Thanks to Jon Murray’s response to Lisa’s question about flush mounting footbraces in late December, I can attest to the ease of installation and the security of the “Ez-Point Studs” from Aircraft Spruce and Specialty. I used the 10-32 studs, mounted with thickened epoxy and then topped with a 2x2 inch patch of 4 oz. fabric. These studs formed the attach points for 7” Yakima rails. Very easy installation, and they take everything I am willing to give them in terms of load. Great idea, Jon!
