I think they were $2.65 each - not cheap, but I was getting lazy. They could be made up from a flat head screw and countersunk fender washer silver soldered together, also. I used the 10-32 size and didn't drill out the 1/4-20 threads in the Yakima rail. The 10-32 slips inside the ID of the 1/4-20 threads.
