Thanks for the compliment! As others have already indicated, the magnets are available from Lee Valley and others. I got these from Lee Valley - 1/2 inch diameter, 1/8 inch thick. I believe it was Rob Macks that mentioned that each pair generate 12 lbs of attractive force. In retrospect, I might have been able to use fewer. At least this way I don't have to worry about them falling off
