So the Elmer's glue was fine to join the temporary frame. It seems to be plenty strong and I avoided mixing Epoxy for such a small job. I have used the glue gun to glue the #7 Frame in place. This was my first time with a glue gun. It is amazing how well it holds.

The question is how will I get rid of the glue when the time comes to remove the temporary frames. Using a heat gun is probably the idea but how do I remove the glue from the wood for smooth finish?

I have also wired second row of planks. Things are starting to look nice. Every time I work on a new row of planks I use the orbital sander to clean the epoxy of the edges and to level the finish. I will switch to a palm sander next because the orbital sander could catch the fiberglass stripe and peel it off the finish (happened to me).

Next I will 'Elmer Glue' two additional forms for spreading and forming the hull and continue wiring the remaining layers of planks to complete the boat's hull.

: Today I inspected all the butt joins. I created a jig for drilling holes
: every 6 inches and pre-drilled all of the planks. My lightweight drill did
: not feel so lightweight after an hour of continuous drilling. Ouch.

: Then I set all the planks aside with the exception of the bottom and two #1
: planks. I used an orbital sander to clean the epoxy sticking out to make
: it flush with the plywood edges. I also ran the sander over the epoxy work
: to smooth out some bubbles. I drilled more holes and wired it all
: together. I also attached the transom and propped it with cement blocks to
: prevent it from falling. WOW. This thing actually takes the shape of a
: boat. It is awesome. I read instructions for gluing 3-piece temporary
: station 7 form with epoxy. I used Elmer's glue. I don't know if this was a
: mistake but I'll see after it dries how strong it will be. The 3-piece
: station is temporary and will come out later. I is used as a form to
: attach the remaining planks. First I have to hot glue it in place. That
: will be tonight.

: I will post an addendum to this day tonight.
