It's not clear from your post whether you have a curved centerline/keel
Think viewed from above or sighting down the stations.

Or if you have a bump or blip in the surface, such as the wood has pulled away
from the station.

If it's a curved centerline, you're in deep do do. This would be hard to correct.

What did you use for a strongback?
