I hate to call it "done" since I get the impression these boats are never really "done." None the less, it turned out better than I'd anticipated, and fits and paddles great. The weather was a little cloudy and cool, but that kept all the PWC and most power boats off the lake. (I know, it's not fair to rub it in while some of you folk are suffering from the hard water syndrome, but then I'll pay the price next summer when it's too hot for the bugs to survive.)
The varnish, soft padeyes, perimeter lines, bungies, and compass went on since the "leak test" a couple weeks ago. I'm already going through withdrawal, but figure I'd better get the backyard finished before I start another, and another, and...
