120 should be fine. If it fills quickly from soft resin you'll either need to switch to a coarser grit, or use a wet sanding technique. Either way, use a light touch. Power sanding may not even be needed. You're not trying to remove a lot of material here, so you could probably go just as fast with a piece of sandpaper wrapped around a block of wood. Simple, cheap and easy.
