: this contour a lot better than you think. If you do not want to 'round'
: over this edge (not much is needed to sand this down) because of the fear

P.S. If you do use 2 pieces don't "overlap" them like you mentioned. The only point of using 2 pieces is IF you can't round to AVOID them and the 'joint" should be at the joint if you can't "round" it over.
