I got
: most of it off, but there are still some stains. When I get to the deck,
: I'll use only the syringe to fill the gaps. On my next boat, I think I
: might fill the gaps before planing. Or maybe plane, sand, saturation coat,
: and then fill. Regards, Scott.

It's all a learning process and there are many routes that can be taken to get to the same end. Some builders strongly suggest using Dunhams? Rock Hard Putty which is mixed with water. Others suggest an epoxy mixture. Always try to do the filling before final sanding....or, do a seal coat of epoxy before filling to avoid staining.

Sometimes staining is more obvious than others. I haven't yet figured that one out.
