: Try this for wiping varnish. Put on latex throw a way gloves for a quick easy
: clean up and dip a Bounty (they don’t tear up) paper towel into your
: varnish. Put your varnish in a seperate container you are going to dip
: into so you don’t contaminate your can of varnish. Wipe the varnish on
: like you are polishing a car. It goes on very thin but you don’t get many
: runs. Lightly wet sand with 220 grit after each varnish coat for a good
: bond and to knock off any dust bumps. Don’t worry that it may look a
: little dull with these wipe coats. Put the last and final coat on with a
: foam brush carefully, with lots of light and plenty of looking for runs
: and tip off runs and bubbles with you brush. This last coat is the only
: one you have to pay much attention to. I pick this up from the different
: ways the guys on the board varnish and put them together into something
: that worked for me. Kind of like varnishing for dummies.
