hi Joe;
i had real good luck fitting the bulkheads in my spring run. i made cardboard patterns before i joined the deck and hull. the key to makeing the patterns was lots of benchmarks. make the bottom of the pattern fit the hull then set the deck on the hull and mark the position of the bulkhead on the deck. flip the deck over and trim the top pattern to fit at the marks.
