Strip: 16' to Go *Pic*

I've pieced my feature strip together 4' down each side. I'm pretty happy with the way it looks. It's just going to take time. The clamping strips on the inboard side are working pretty well. I'm not getting much slippage. Clamping was a problem on the hull strip.

Each chevron takes a small piece of Cedar top and bottom and then the piece requires a bit of final shaping. This time I'm shaping each piece only once right before it's installed. On the hull, I shaped each piece before each step :(

I'm not ready to do the dots yet but I have made the decision to go ahead with them as long as I can get clean joints. I'm also almost done with the cart but it's low priority at this point.
