I agree with John. Wood glue as filler does not work since it does not harden up the same and is difficult to sand. It will smear and often create a bigger mess. Resin with dust is best as it is hard and when the whole boat is wetted out, it will disappear better. Glue often shows through as lighter shades in those areas. You may not see it now, but it will always show through after resin is on whole boat and then it is to late. Other wood fillers sometimes do not bond as well and may just pop out of the crack. They also tend to shrink a lot when dry which means you will have to fill several times.
