Hi Jason.
There have been lots of posts regarding your dilema.
I solved mine to my satisfaction with a tiny keel strip at the stern.
It follows the line of the hull but adds about 1" depth.(4' long tapering to nothing at both ends)
the tracking is now stiffer but turning is still easy.
I'm not sure of this but I think my strips came away from the forms in the bow and stern areas rounding out those areas rather than sharpening them which may have negated the need for the keel strip???
Any way theres lots you can do to meet your needs.
