I pulled the forms out and now I'm fairing the inside. In some ways this is the hardest part of the project... the bulk of the work is done and now I just have to finish it without making too many mistakes. I've set a deadline of August 16 (R2K2) for completion; I hate to rush it but the time has come to wrap things up.

I planed the interior with my round sole spokeshave and a 100.5 double radius plane from Woodcraft. It worked okay I guess, I still have a lot of sanding to do. Next time I might try a scraper instead. I was pleased with how the hot glue popped off. I used white general purpose sticks against everyone's recommendation (I have mini-guns/couldn't find mini yellow sticks). Most of the glue cracked away when I struck the forms and it was easy to get rid of the residue. I wouldn't hesitate to use the white sticks again.

That's about it. Next is filling some low spots with microbaloons and then a lot of sanding.
