I really liked the Tern 17 but sold it. It tracked great, turned great , but it's a higher volume boat and I just didn't want to keep it after I built my Storm. I do mostly day paddling. If I build another S&G, it will be a Cirrus. I think Ted Henry has built a couple of Terns and it sounds like the Pacific Northwest gang really likes the boat. There's nothing NOT to like about the Tern 17', I just liked the Storm better.
