I agree with the statement of "do not sand green epoxy". Overlaps are just a part of building boats. In a perfect world we wouldn't have them...but...here we are. I use a carbide scraper and scrape the overlap. Actually I check the whole boat and scrape as needed. Then I do a fill coat. I scrape as needed after every coat. Usually by the last coat I'm looking really good. After the epoxy cures for awhile I might check scrape and then sand.
