Lesson to be learned here:

If you're not handling it yourself, you almost have to crate it, so it's not attractive for someone to physically touch the boat and try to use the boat to lift the whole package.

: I knew I was taking a risk with it, but didn't have time to get the glassing
: done. I screwed some boards into the forms so there would be a level
: platform to rest on the ground.

: Didn't work out all that great. The movers managed to lift the boat off the
: forms at some point which resulted in the keel line coming apart, dented
: the strips in several places, and broke off the stern form. So, I've got a
: bit of work to do to get things back on track. But I think it's pretty
: much recoverable.

: I'd try to get it glassed on at least one surface before trying this again.
