: I bought a $60 ShopVac QSP 15 gallon model. Great bang for your 60 bucks.
: Home Despot has Ridgids with the tool plugin for $100 or so, I believe.

I just upgraded from an old B&D to the ShopVac QSP 12. It is less noisy then the B&D, but these things are not quiet. I am happy not alerting the neighbors when I decide to turn it on at night. But I would use ear protection if running it for any time. I do like the filtering of the ShopVac. And if you need a bit more you can use the drywall dust bag. And it does move a lot of air. Look for something with a 2" hose that has the power to use it.
