Congratulations on surviving the storm and getting your life/house back together. I've recently also survived a different kind of hurricane, one that nearly destroyed my life, but unlike yours, had nothing to do with the weather. Anyway, I'm back at home with my wife and kids and just recently moved my unfinished Cirrus into our cramped attic workshop. This boat has not seen any activity for nearly 9 months, but that's about to change. Even since these shots were taken it has had a few strips added to each side of the deck. The cradle that the boat sits in tilts to work on the far side, and although it works ok, the boat will have to be moved into the middle of the room when it comes time to resume work on the hull (which will be a challenge, if you can't tell that this room is a mess).

Throughout the course of this year, I did have the opportunity to try a couple of non-traditional SOF's, and although they were fun projects, it sure is nice to get back to work on the Cirrus. The fir strips on the deck are being beveled with a 12" sanding block (works great) and once completed will be cut into/apart for some kind of inlay work (still undecided). It sure is great to get back to work on an older project even if the launching won't be until next Spring.
