Hi Mike -

You might also check out the Tasman Sea by John Winters. I just purchased the plans for it and it might fit your requirement at 13'6". I traded emails with John about the boat and he said it should be great for day-paddling, fishing, etc. I'm 215 and 6'1". QCC sells it as the Q300.
