Hey, Marc-

I love them, up to 1 1/8 wide, on the bottom of the hull where there is no bend or roll. Really helps to speed the bottom stripping. On the sides, though (on the boats I do, anyway) the roll and bend is much easier to do with the 1/2" or 5/8" wide pieces.

Also, on the deck, I prefer 3/4" or narrower pieces for purely personal cosmetic taste. I like the look of the narrower strips on the deck.

No sense making any more sawdust than neccessary. Have fun, Mike
