The question I have is this;
is this gentleman building canoes using traditional Inuit techniques (i.e. canvas over a basketwork frame) or is he applying planking beween the ribs and the canvas?
I can't tell from the pictures.

: outside of the ribs. If the lines are actually stringers they must be
: awful thin. Some additional information/pictures could clear that up.
