I'm new to kayaking and kayak building, but once the "bug" for something bites me, it bites hard! have an expedition single underway, hopefully will be building a double and a couple more singles in the future :) Living on the west coast with several great kayaking areas nearby and mild year round weather really helps. Photography and getting in better shape fit in beautifully with exploring the coast by paddle. I'm hoping to pick up all sorts of great info and tips from these forums, as well as posting what little tidbits I find helpful along the way.
