I built a small plywood and stringer skin-on-frame for my in-laws as a Christmas gift. I painted on the boat's name and what my 2 year old calls them (Ju-ju and Jub-jub... long story for both) using some black 2-pot Perfection paint left over from a Black Pearl. It seems to adhere well. The solvents are pretty nasty but didn't seem to melt the pvc. I have no idea how it'll ultimately perform. For my daughter's 8' SOF I skinned the hull in clear PVC and did an overlay using some of the coated pvc from the other boat. I just cut it out to shape (a seahorse in this instance) and glued it on with HH-66.
Pictures of both in the Gallery (which I just noticed is coming up with blank pages.... grrrrr.)
