Dair I suggest the following? I could bring down a storm of disaproval on my head.

With a single chine boat like yours you can save a fair bit of weight by filleting and taping inside and taping outside. If you are using 4mm ply it should be quite stiff enough with all those corners. You have a bit of V and this is where the wear will be. Double tape the keel perhaps. If you do not glass the hull it helps to put on your innitial epoxy coat in a very warm shop with a falling temperature. This will get you good penatration on the first coat.

I have a couple of ply boats that are nearly thirty years old that have been built in this way, (without full glassing) and in those days epoxy did not exist. One used ordinary GRP. Ply can be very tough.

If you are using ply on the deck you certainly do not need full glass.
