Hi Robert. First of all I want you to know that we will all be pulling for you on your trip.

I was going to suggest beef jerky but then I remembered that you have a problem with this product. One of these days I will have to make some of my homemade beef jerky and ship you a sample. I use no preservatives so maybe it won't cause you any problems. Perhaps you could take along some dried fruit and nuts. That usually helps me get through a day of fishing. Also, don't underestimate your needs in fresh water. There might be some spots where it won't be easily accessible.
