: Okay...I'm one strip away (On the middle forms) from ....argghhhh..the Hull
: CHINES. that is one big BEND on the Night Heron.
: Yeh, I could bevel that strip (or two)...but I have an idea I might try. I
: have these 1/4" dowels ( 3' long)that I've been using in the coves
: with my clamps ( NO GLUE so far)...to avoid crushing the cove ends. works
: super. THinking...about...at the chines...I LEAVE the dowels in and
: then...REVERSE the next strip to COVE DOWN. It looks..repeat..looks like
: it might work. It actually makes a kind of HINGE thing. Plus, it's a nice
: little 1/4" stripe also. figure that after the keel strips are
: in...they will have the coves facing down...and I could for a few
: pieces....alternate keel/sides until I have to bevel both sides.
: curious if anyone has done something like this???

I had the same idea as you but I ended up using a few 1/2" strips that did the job I my night heron. Still don't let me be the one to stop you doing something different, if it works let us know.
