Well, good timing on this discussion. We finished my wife's boat and frugal as I am, I had to use the last bit of Corey goop to 'fix' some areas. Turned out, that this then were the only runs we have on the boat and they stayed tacky now for about four weeks.
I'm still not sure what to do with that. The areas are the chines and keel. So, I could purchase some tape to reinforce those areas as that was the original intent of my meddling, but it might look a bit off. I also thought about distributing some sort of powder over it, but am not sure what (I have some filler material from the epoxy work left over, but it doesn't sound right).
