Robert,

Hold off on that oak project for tomorrow if you really were planning on running the stock (especially oak) between the router bit and the fence. That's a sure-fire recipe for disaster. You need either a self piloting bit, a bit embedded in the fence, of some other SAFE way of doing that. Please do a bit of research (I know you know how to use the internet!) before continuing.

We'd all like to see those memorial plaques be only for your friend,
