: You have started using a single strap around your back band. Do you
: find this works better than the upper/lower straps? What is the
: height of the band? I'm guessing 4"?

Works the same as having two straps, but simpler. You will want and upper and lower strap attaching the backrest to the rear bulkhead or underside of the coaming rim behind the seat.

: Your bungee hatch hold down systems have one secured tied loop and
: one slip over hook. I understand the one secured set prevents
: hatch loss but does it make it a little awkward not to be able
: to get the hatch far enough out of the way loading etc? Have you
: used two slip on connections on the hatch and then just a longer
: secure line?

I've only used the hatch holddowns that you see on my website. It's a little confining when storing gear, but I've heard to many stories about hatch covers lost on the highway. I want my hatch covers to withstand the eventual event on the highway when I (or a friend) forget to secure it properly.
