Every Lens has its limitations

: It's nice to have a wide angle, but when the level of distortion
: becomes an obvious distraction, it detracts from the images.

That is what all the test shots were for saturday. Keeping the subject close and in the center seems to work for this rig. The distorted ship shot exaggerates the distortion at the edges and was included to show the limitations. It has a time lapse feature for 2,10,30,and 60 second intervals and I am making mounting brackets to capture a variety of shots. This will not be the only camera on trips but it will capture shots not possible with other rigs. Like I said, I am pleased with it.

Best,

Reg
