I enjoyed the shots and I think the distortion you get from the lens is a plus as long as you don’t dominate the slide show with it. It says fun and impromptu which is good to have in the mix. I have done the same thing with my Optio. Just a warning, when you have it on auto every 10 seconds and you are paddling with guys and hit the first landing in 5 hours on a remote beach it is easy to forget about it and get a few images you would rather not have.
