Epoxy: Fiberglass time... nervous

Well, I'm about ready to glass my 14 ft great auk. It's my first strip built boat and I have almost no fiberglass experience. I have countless hours looking through many of these threads, Nick's book (building strip planked boats), other websites, etc., for fiberglass info; I have found a lot of info and am probably just making things worse, by continuing to look.
Does the following sound about right?

fiberglasssupply.com
either 20 yds of 38" 6oz eglass or 15 yds of 50" 4oz eglass
2.4 gallons of west system resin and hardener (rookie, expecting to waste some)
25 yds of 8.71oz tape (for sheer seem)

I would like to put a seal coat on before the glass. So, for the process, I am looking at the following (internal frame):

1) apply epoxy coat to outside hull
2) glass outside hull
3) apply epoxy coat to outside deck
4) glass outside deck
5) glass inside hull
6) glass inside deck
7) apply additional layer of glass to stems (anywhere else?)
8) tape inside sheer seam
9) tape outside sheer seam
10) varnish

I need to get some new pics posted to the following site, but minus a couple new images, here it is:

Thanks!
