: Looking to build a new strongback that will be used over and over.
: I know there are LOTS of ways to do this. But I want to build a
: long strongback that doesn't weight so much that I can't put it
: up on the rack to store by myself. My thought is to built a
: plywood box beam, notch the joints and glue and screw it
: together. Then I can just add a board to top to be my
: sacrificial piece.

: I just found Ocean One's "T" shapped and I like that,
: expect that I have to mount it to the saw horses.

: Just looking for a good ideas.

I built a solid 2x4 beam out of interleaved 4" wide strips of 1/2" plywood. I staggered the joints in each layer by 2' and it is solid as a rock. And it's not to heavy either. If you reduce the dimensions by 1/4" in each direction (1 3/4" x 3 3/4") you have room to move your forms around.
