Thanks! I don't know about that being "my" style, though. As Bill mentions, the coaming/open cockpit is reminiscent of the first kayak I was ever in - my grandfather's old Folboat. Plenty of other boats have them, too.
They are easy to make, which is important to many people, but I'm actually planning a modified coaming option for the smaller Chuckanut versions, though I like this one for the tandem.

Anyway, this boat took longer to complete than most of my others - about two and half weeks. But, that's because I couldn't work on it very much - there's probably only a week of actual effort in her.

Here's a pic of her after skinning. I prefer the white, actually, but my friend's parents wanted red.

See the red hues fore and aft? I lashed in some dollar store swim noodles in either end, for (minimal) permanent floatation. In non-traditionally constructed SOFs, it's tough to get anything in those spots after the boat is skinned, and this seemed like a good idea.
