: Experience is always worth *something*. I'm uploading a Guiness
: Extra Stout and a cheap cigar for you.

: I like your comment re: "one brand type of guy" thing. I
: can dig it, I'm a Raka guy myself, tried a cheaper brand, and it
: was disaster. Those in the know will be able to read this like a
: book. It just wouldn't ever harden up all the way, that's what.
: A week later in summer and still a thumbnail would leave a dent.
: BS! Back to Raka and all is well once again....

: And yes, 'squeegeeing' is a perfectly excellent word, you bet. I
: endorse it 100%.

Thanks for the beer and smoke! The 3.2 oz was another experiment, the 40x40 balanced weave was nice because the fill coat that I did was only one coat and to fill the deck took only 12 oz of resin ( I used a 2 inch chip brush and a willy nilly cross hatch technique followed by a quick blow torching to pop any stray bubbles...yes I have a heat gun but the blow torch seemed like more fun!). To wet the two deck layers out took only 19.5 oz btw.
Attached a pic of myself note the clock in the background, alot of times during this project that is how fast it felt like forward was going, clock seemed to make sense.

cheers to beers!
