I've been building boats for about five years, half are canoes, the other half are kayaks. I really enjoy woodworking and it makes a good hobby for me in retirement. Most of the boats are for my kids and grandkids and they all enjoy boating.

I'm a retired engineer and need to work with my hands or I go crazy. Building kayaks and canoes really fills the bill.
