I now live in Sussex 50 or so miles S of London England (not the "New" version)
Have just launched my firt strip built kayak, a 15ft 6" shortened Guillemot. I have named it "Gillie" (a Scotish water bailiff)
This seems appropriate as my last kayak experience was 48 years ago on the white waters of the river Tay north of Perth in Scotland.
Pleased with the boat and looking foreward to some surf action.
I've got the bug and am thinking about my next build. At 66 I need to get on with it before I get too old to use it.
Half way through the second build, (stripping complete.) and plans in my head for the future.
