Hi Paul,
No commercial plans available as far as I am aware, however, a couple of KF designs available at blueheronkayaks. Have a look in blueherons launching forum for Surfski from Canada. tbe designer has also turned his Mystey in to a surfski.

As far as buying plans and modifying, the Mystery, as mentioned by Clayton is an option. IMO the Sea Racer is a far better option. in fact, the sea rcer designer, Bjorn Thomasson, also designed the fusion surfski using the sea racer hull as a platform.

I have tken the quick and easy option of S&G hull (clc pax 20). i don't plan on getting rid of my ocean racer (Stellar SES) I just missed having a wooden boat. I'm not a very fast paddler. i participate rather than compete so if I can't win I can make sure I at least have the nicest boat.

Which ever optionis taken, th cockpit is the area that has absorbed so much of my time. Lots of template work.

Cheers
