Dan,

You'll have a plethora of strips... I figure a BP usually uses about 800 LF of 3/4" wide strips, allowing for 15% waste. That works out to 20 BF of lumber using thin kerf blades (.059") and 3/16" strips.

BTW: A 1x4 is only 3.5" wide... So your projected pile is 10x 10LF x 3.5/12 = 29 BF. It sounds like a lot but those 1/4" strips and blade with a wider kerf will chew up that buffer very quickly. Consider 3/16" strips and a very thin kerf blade (I like the 7-1/4" Freau Diablos).
