Success! Mini Hot Melt Glue Sticks for Maroske Fittings work great.
Forget tubes. (When I get more time over the weekend I'll post photos)

I did a test with mini glue sticks and 1/2" fiberglass sleeve, Just coated the glue sticks with releasing fluid.
If you are not familiar with fiberglass sleeve, it's much smaller than the given dimension. The 1/2" I used came flat. I used a regular sharpened pencil to slip in and open it up. The MINI hot melt glue sticks are dimensioned at 5/16" but are actually smaller.
Taped the loose end of the sleeve to the glue stick (you'll see when I post photos)
If the sleeve is tight on the glue stick or loose, works the same.

Drilled a 3/8" hole in the deck, fed the sleeve/glue stick through and just passed the deck.
One heavy coat of epoxy.

Pulling them out was easy. I trimmed the short end flush with the deck, the other end I peeled, scraped the tape away from the glue stick.
I pulled on the long end of the glue stick, and noticed from touching the sawn off end that I could feel it move when I tugged. Popped right out, easy.
1/4" deck line slides right through, absolutely no problem.

Forget the plastic tubing-- once you try the glue sticks you'll never even consider it.
Hot Melt Glue sticks (regular and mini) both work.
Make tight bends (my holes are 1" apart)
do not kink
and are stretchy--so when you pull on them, they stretch in length, cross section gets smaller- pop!

Below the deck my mini glue stick Maroske fitting is 1/2" high. If you want the loop for under deck tie off, make it bigger--but it isn't needed.
Mini glue sticks seem to be easier than regular ones.
Glue sticks are still usable when you are done. No epoxy stuck to them and the releasing coat flakes off.
