Hi,

Last year I had my striper refinished with Interlux Perfection Plus, a 2 part polyurethane - high gloss. It was done by an auto painter and they sprayed on about 5 coats. It looked awesome, but after a 3 week Alaska trip the barnacles have taken a bit of a toll on the hull. I am under no delusion that I can get rid of all the scratches but would love to clean it up a fair bit.

Anyone done this? I was thinking of approaching like scratches on a car - 2000 wet sand, dual action polisher/buffer with compound.
