I completed this Guillemot L kayak in December and have over a 100 miles of paddling Pine Island Sound, Estero Bay, and the Florida Keys. During the build process, I just completed stripping the hull when I closed the automatic garage door on the hull. The hull crack in about 14 places, mostly along the seams. My heart sank! But my grandaughter said I could put it back together, which I did! I reglued the crack seams and made a couple of patches. I started with gluing and taping the sides to the stations and then finally reglued the two keel strips. I continued the build with stripping the deck and fiberglass with no major problems. I installed a Kajak skeg, Current Design seat, and used carbon fiber for the cockpit lip and hip plates. My lay up was done between expedition and standard lay up.
