Once you open the bottle you can extend the shelf life of the remaining glue by floating a little mineral spirits on top of it to seal it off from the air ... and pour off the mineral spirits when you're ready to use the glue again. I've used this trick to extend the shelf life a few days to a month or two ... but the glue eventually started to gel ... however it was helpful.

: Gorilla Glue seems to have a shelf life once opened. Anybody have
: any way of stopping it from hardening in the bottle? Or does
: anyone know what the solvent is? Nothing seems to work.
: I guess once oxygen gets in there, it's just a matter of time.
: Lessons learned - only buy small bottles.
