Yup, that's the kind I use. I've used the Happy Bottom seat in all my boats. I've only glued down 2. In my Auk 14 and my Nymph 12 canoe. In both cases, I cut the wings off and covered them with 2 mm neoprene to pretty them up a bit. In my kayaks I don't glue them down. In my Petrels they are wedged in pretty good and don't move. In my wife's Shearwater 16 it doesn't move but I have to remember to remove before I put it on the car.....the highway gods have claimed a couple.
