You could also use this to keep the area below the sprayskirt warm or cool in opposition to what the weather brings you.
Putting dry ice in your cooler (or liquid nitrogen) keeps things really cold, and opens the door to all sorts of fog machine fun.
I've seriously thought about adding a battery and a small elecrtic inboard to a kayak someday. I guess I should start actually building one first though!
