Rob, the reactions and excitement in this thread have very little to do with how this canoe builder represents his work or the meaning of meaning but your presumption to interpret his work for us the folks who post on this board. From my position if you are able to so easily judge the validity of a skilled craftsman in this public forum it kind of puts us amateurs on a scale somewhere off a cliff. To have folks like you and others post assistance here is uplifting, the pictures people post on this forum are a celebration of work. I don't think another forum called "What gets my goat" would go over well.
