Here is the solution. Take your roller and go outside. Face West and throw it as far as possible.:)-

Now drive to the local paint /tile/ autobody shop and purchase a PVC squeegy this can then be used to apply the epoxy.

A roller works by repeatedly lifting and depositing epoxy. What you want to is put it down and level it. Even a brush is better than a roller.

The bean counters of the world will say you waste too much epoxy with a squeege but I have never needed more than two coats including the original irrespective of the weight of cloth. This is up to 450g I put on a 6m power boat.
