I think 28" will be reasonable, with a curved deck then. I'll increase the depth slightly (from 12.25 to ~14 inches) and increase the width from 20 to 28 inches. If I run the length to 24 ft, it will still cartop on my suburban. It'll probably weigh around 70 lbs. What is the average density (or weight per square foot) of 1/8 ply with 2 layers 6 oz fiberglass cloth & polyester resin (ballpark)?
